If you are looking to have something fixed that doesn't appear to be on this list, don't worry!

This list is just to cover our most common repairs, Our mechanics can take on almost any job to do with a bicycle.

Because there are so many different shapes and sizes when it comes to bicycles, there are some jobs we can't put an upfront price on.

With these jobs, we have to charge by the amount of time taken. But on the flip side of this, if a job gets done a lot quicker than expected. The mechanics will lower the price to reflect this.

We will also take on all-electric bike repairs from the major manufacturers (Bosch, Shimano, and Yamaha) There are a few other brands we can help with, but you will have to call us up to check.

We do not repair Suron/stealth bomber electric bikes

We also do not repair electric scooters.

Regular Bike Servicing
Having a service is a great way to keep your bicycle in top condition, And it will help it last a lot longer as well as cut down on costs in the long run.

Bronze service - Every 500 miles or 10 months
This is almost like a car mot, a really thorough once over on the bike whilst taking care of a few minor jobs.

Silver Service -Every 1000 miles or 18 months
The silver covers everything a bronze does and more! we will also remove and thoroughly clean your Drivetrain (cassette, chain, derailleurs, and cranks) in our eco-friendly hot parts washer. As well as tensioning and truing wheels when required.

    Gold - 1500 Miles or 30 Months
This is almost a strip down and rebuild! Great for those who want their bike to feel and look almost brand new again. In addition to the silver, your brakes will get bled and almost everything removed, cleaned, and regreased.

Our mechanics will always assess a bike before starting work, they will quote you according to the work they can see your bike needs. It is always down to you if you wish to go ahead with this work.
For example, if your bike is booked in for a Gold but it is in almost perfect condition, they will call you and advise a Silver or maybe even a Bronze.
This works the opposite way as well, if your bike is booked in for a Bronze but needs a full strip-down and rebuild, they will let you know what they find before starting the work.

Electric bikes can need servicing a bit more often due to the extra forces involved with the motor and the extra weight the bike carries.

We carry out all the same work as our regular service packages with some extra work focused on small issues that can occur on an electric bike.

We aim to get these done on the spot where ever possible to make sure you are back on yer bike as soon as possible.

If you have purchased a new bike elsewhere we can do this initial first check for you at a cost of £25

If you have purchased a new bike that has come in a box we can also provide a new bike build/checking service for £50.

Suspension service & repairs

Standard Fork Service - £25

Your forks need a lot more servicing than you realize. With most manufacturers recommend a service every 20-40 hours of use. This doesn't sound like a lot. but if you ride 1.5 hours a week, that's between 3-6 months

We will disassemble the forks, give them a good clean as dirt can build up inside, and replace the seals if necessary.

Remove the old contaminated oil and add fresh oil to them.

Parts are not included with this service and sometime we may need to order the seals.

Full Fork Service

This is something we can't do in-house, But if you need a full service on your forks then we will remove from your bike (unless you have already removed them) send them to the relevant company and deal with it on your behalf.

The cost for this depends on the fork, service, or repair you need and the manufacturer.

It will be whatever they charge + postage + £15 admin fee

Full Rear Shock Service

This is the same as the full fork service, we will remove it from your bike (unless you have already removed them) send them to the relevant company and deal with it on your behalf.

Whilst the shock is out and being serviced, you may want to have your bearings replaced at the same time.

The cost for this depends on the fork, service, or repair you need and the manufacturer.

It will be whatever they charge + postage + £15 admin fee

Shock Bushing Replacement - £20

If you have a bit of wobble from the back end, this can sometimes be caused by worn bushings on your shock. If you do notice any wear or damage it is always worth getting them replaced to make sure your suspension is running silky smooth.

It is £20 per end but if you are having both done, then it is only £30 for 2.

This does not include the price of the hardware

Linkages & bearings £25

Probably the most common job on a full-suspension bike. Your bearings and linkages may wear for various different reasons. This can result in your back end feeling a little wobbly.

We will take the rear suspension apart and fit brand new bearings on each section required until your bike is running like it's brand new again.

Bearings not included

Suspension warranty

Bikes purchased from us that are still in warranty will be treated as any other warranty.

For suspension forks and rear shocks, they may need to be sent off to the manufacturer in question for inspection.

If you bought your bike or suspension elsewhere, we can still handle the warranty for you. But some companies do not cover labor, time, or postage. So there may be a charge for processing this.

No parts are included in any of our in-house servicing.

Booking your bike in

Getting your bike booked into one of our workshops is very straightforward.

All you need to do is call the store closest to you, and one of our staff members will let you know the next available date to work on your bike and get you booked in.

When booking your bike in, please give our staff members as much information as possible so the mechanic can conduct the repair as efficiently as possible.

Our workshops do get busier during peak seasons, as we are a popular choice for servicing and repairs, which means our wait times can be a little longer than expected.

We know it can be frustrating to be without your bike. So we get most jobs done within 24 hours of their booking in date.

There may be occasions where a small job develops into a bigger job, or a part needed is out of stock. In these cases, we will get in touch to let you know.

Each one of our workshops tries to operate in exactly the same way, but there are subtle differences in each branch. So to book your bike in to the store close to you. Choose your local branch from the options below

Bike Valeting Service

We are happy to announce our new bike valeting service! This will only be available at our Burnley branch for the time being, but will extend to our other stores as soon as possible.

Full Bike Valet - £35

The full bike vallet starts with a full wash down to remove any excess mud.
We then give the bike a good clean down with Muc-Off and dry ready for detailing.
The drivetrain will then get a full clean. Chain, Chainrings, Cassette, Rear Mech, Front Mech are all included. Once this section has been cleaned up and degreased we dry it down and re-apply some oil.
We will then go round the bike making sure we clean all the hard to reach areas before giving the bike a final wipe down.
Once your bike is looking spotless we apply a finishing coat to the frame and suspension where needed. We use the Muc-Off disc covers to make sure your brakes don't get contaminated whilst cleaning!
After that your bike will be looking brand new and ready to get dirty again!
You can add the bike valet onto any service for a discounted rate of only £20!

The Basic Bike Clean - £15

The "Basic Bike Clean" does what it says on the tin. We give the bike a once over with the hose pipe and Muc-Off to remove as much dirt as we possibly can.
We have a selection of brushes to remove as much of the dirt as we possibly can before we dry it down to look all nice again.
After giving it a good clean, we will apply a fresh coat of oil to the chain to make sure it is lubed and ready to ride.
Warranty

If you are looking to have your bike checked out by us because there is a warranty issue, we are happy to help.

Sometimes we may need to get your bike booked into the workshop to be inspected before we can start a warranty claim, but if your bike was purchased from us, we will always try to get this done as soon as possible.

Some warranties are quite straight forward and we may only need a quick phone call to get the ball rolling.

Warranties Purchased From other Shops

If your bike or item wasn't purchased from us we may still be able to process your warranty. We do have to work to the manufacturer guidelines and sometimes there will be an admin/processing fee. Just contact your local store for details.

Bosch electric bike warranties

As a Bosch expert center, we can deal with all bosch warranties even if they weren't purchased from us, these will need booking in to be checked on the diagnostic machine before we can start a warranty for you.

Yamaha & Shimano Electric Bike Warranty

If you purchased your bike from us then you just need to follow the steps listed above.

If your bike was purchased at another shop or online, we can still deal with your warranty.

Even though the parts on your bike may be covered under warranty, sometimes the time we spend fitting these parts isn't.

Some manufacturers may cover the cost of labor and admin, and in some cases, the original shop you purchased the bike from may also cover this cost. but if they don't,

There may be a charge for processing a warranty purchased elsewhere.
