If you are looking for new places to go riding in and around Burnley & Blackburn? Or new people to go riding with? Then this is the place for you!At On Yer Bike we love riding bikes! It's one of the best parts of our job! So we do weekly social rides to get out and about around Lancashire!
During the spring and summer, we run Wednesday night rides, with a different location each week made up of about 10 local mountain bike trails in and around Burnley & Blackburn.

What equipment do I need?
Currently we are only doing Mountain Bike rides so A bicycle capable of handling local trails is required.Helmets are always needed when riding.
Basic repair kit. You will find everyone is very friendly and will help out whenever there are mechanical issues. But having a pump, puncture repair kit and allen keys is always good practice in case of emergencies.
At the start of the season and towards the end of the season riding lights will be needed. These need to be powerful enough to see in the dark. It's always a great idea to carry lights with you on an evening ride just in case.
Even though these aren't extreme rides, Lightweight Knee pads / Elbow pads are a good idea. They can help build confidence, or just keep vital parts from getting injured if a mishap occurres.
